The DGCF award is brought into this world to support new voices with a fresh set of eyes. One of the goals is to help recently graduated talents in their professional development and give them a chance to make their projects happen in two years. Preferably, we would focus on percussion and composition talents. We prefer to support ambitious musicians that were actively improving themselves during their studies and have already accomplished things such as competing in (inter-)national competitions, creating a unique artistic voice and performing in concerts in multiple countries.
Achieving the dreams and goals of these young talents will be done with our financial aid and expert help during the "Talent Development period" including arranging concerts, masterclasses, rent or purchase of instruments, a studio, help with recording a professional cd or video and networking. During this biennial period, the DGCF will act as a producer. The maximum amount that will be presented is €25.000,- and the winner will receive this in an official ceremony. The amount will not be paid directly but all the invoices of the projects of the winners will be paid by the foundation for two years. The DGCF aims for the common good and has no profit motive.
