NKM – Neues Kollektiv München is a new formation for contemporary music. Avant-garde and classic, composition and improvisation, theory and practice come together in this association of musicians, composers, and musicologists.
The close interlocking of creative interpreters and music-making composers characterizes the artistic work of the NKM. The basic idea is to combine your own concepts with current trends in contemporary music.
The programmatic idea of regularly inviting guests of different artistic backgrounds and cultural origins and becoming part of the collective will determine future concert programs.
