Trio Napolov | Fridman | Sandee's career
Passion for contemporary music and the endless search for new sound worlds are the starting points that unite pianist Laura Sandee, cellist Maya Fridman and percussionist Konstantyn Napolov into an exciting and unique ensemble. By collaborating with composers and being involved in the creative process, new compositions are born, new worlds are opened, and they broaden the boundaries of the existing repertoire.
The trio has already received newly written compositions by Meredi, Tobias PM Schneid, Klas Torstensson, Robin de Raaff, and more new collaborations are yet to come. In July 2019, the trio debuted at the Blaricum Music Festival with the Triple Concerto Pierced by David Lang, directed by Mathieu Herzog.
Their debut cd “Obscure Atlas” with compositions written for the Trio by Aart Strootman and Daniel Wohl got high international reviews and keeps surprising the listeners.
